Hi Friends! It feels like I haven’t posted in a while! Wow it feels great to do so! Apart from having a job, being a full time Nursing student, and most importantly a full time mother to my little angel, Benjamin, it’s sort of kind of a task to get on here and post a review! It sure does feel great to do so though! Anyway, enough about me …lets get on with the juicy makeup stuff we all love! Today I will be giving my thoughts on the Too faced Sweet peach eyeshadow palette! If you are anything like me, you search the web for many different reviews on a product before you purchase it. I love being sure of a product before I spend any money on it, beauty products are sometimes not at all cheap! This is exactly what I did with this palette. I read many reviews on sites like makeup alley and looked up pictures on google for swatches. I hesitate back and forth, I ask myself… are these colors me? To my surprise, these colors are so versatile! I can create many different looks because these colors are just so beautiful. As expected, this palette smells like heavenly peaches and the peaches smell awesome! The packaging is a tin case with super cute peach designs all over the lid. This palette includes 18 shadows ranging from pinks, corals, purples, browns and even a beautiful green. It has a combination of mattes and shimmers. I think that’s what I love most about this palette, the huge selection of colors that it includes! I never have been of fan of glittery/shimmery eyeshadows, but I fell in love with the ones included in this palette! The shimmery colors are very pigmented and are so beautiful. They create such a beautiful eye makeup look when combined with one of the matte shades and create a gorgeous look with a dark color in the crease fading into a shimmery shade all over the lid. There are seriously so many combinations of looks that can be created with this palette! The pinks and corals, when used modestly, create such a gorgeous spring/summer time eyeshadow look that just give that pop of color to any eye color. The following images are swatches of one swipe, I really wanted to show you guys the intensity of each individual one. From left: White peach– matte white cream, Luscious– shimmer bronze peach, Just Peachy-shimmery peachy pink Bless her heart-shimmery forest green, Tempting-shimmery black Charmed, I'm sure-matte cool brown. From Left: Nectar– Pearly peach cream, Cobbler– shimmery bronze, Candied peach-coral pink, Bellini-shimmery dark pink bronze (patchy), Peach pit– satin brown, Delectable-dark smokey purple. The last row I had some technical difficuties, maybe 4 of the 6 colors werent showing up as I wanted them to, to show the intesinty of them so I did a double swatch. (Peaches n cream, caramalized, puree and summer yum). From left: Peaches ‘n cream- matte pink cream, Georgia– matte coral brown Caramelized- bronze shimmer, Puree- matte dark peach, Summer Yum– matte bronze copper, Talk Derby to me– dark black with violet flecks. Overall, I think this is such a great palette that you can either go crazy with an over the top peachy pink look or go for a simple bronzed eye look. Either way, there are endless eye looks that can be created with this one. Although I had to swatch a few a couple of times to bring out the color, the colors are still really pretty. I would recommend to apply them wet to get the color very intense and beautiful. Just spritz a bit of good ol’ mac fix plus and you are good to go! Blog Author Spotlight: Wendy Alfaro Hello and Welcome to My Beauty blogs! My name is Wendy and I created Madesimplebeauty because I am such a Makeup and beauty fan that I love searching the web for all things beauty and I know that sometimes its just plain complicated to find Reviews and honest opinions on makeup products. Therefore, I figured why not start my own blog and share my thoughts on cosmetics and make beauty simple. Not only am I a makeup geek (guilty!) I LOVE photography and enjoy capturing the essence of beauty of makeup! Made Simple Beauty blogs include my opinions and reviews on some of my favorite makeup lines such as Makeup Forever, Too faced, Nars, MAC, Lorac, Laura Mercier, Estee Lauder, Urban decay and SOO much more! (with an occasional post about my handbags, because ya gotta love handbags!!). Now I am not in any way a makeup artist of expert, I simply enjoy trying out products and writing about them. There are a bunch of products out on the market right now, and so much more makeup is being developed and sold. H0nestly, its amazing how a person can express themselves with the art and beauty of cosmetics. I have seen dozens and dozens of pictures on the web of the beautiful art that Makeup artists create simply using makeup and its inspiring. If you enjoy the beauty of ….well beauty (ha) then you are in the right place.
