MUA Spotlight: KeyarahA Passion For Cosmetics: My passion for makeup started in 2015. I was first introduced to makeup, through the dance school I use to attend: Art's House School of Music, Dance & Fine Arts. A self taught make up artist provided both students and staff a lesson on how to apply make up. From there, I saw that my collection of makeup wasn't so small, that I could actually do a full face of makeup with the products I had available to me. So from there, I told my mother that I wanted to take a trip to my nearest drugstore to build my collection. Years later, I began reading articles on how to apply makeup to improve my methods. I did not hear about tutorials until people would ask me if I watched "YouTube tutorials?."

People would always compliment my creations, as I prefer to call it, and tell me that I should take it more seriously and create a living out of it. As of October of 2016, I decided to take my talent and my passion seriously, and create a business out of it. I began by opening up a Facebook page then an Instagram.
